Shirin Ghafary has dedicated her practice to labor and employment law and brings both skill and approachability to her work with clients. She has developed experience defending clients in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims, both in individual and class actions. Beyond litigation, Shirin works closely with employers on workplace issues and transactional matters to help them stay compliant and confident in their labor and employment practices. In practice, Shirin has seen just how valuable doing the preventative legal compliance work is in order to decrease the risks of litigation.

Shirin earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, concentrating in Trial & Appellate Advocacy. She served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Barry L. Breslow of the Second Judicial District Court in Reno, Nevada. She also holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Kinesiology from York University in Toronto, Canada.
