Yahya Stith-Stewart is a Law Clerk at Kennedy McCarthy and Rumm, LLP and he is in his third year at the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law where he served as Vice President of the Mock Trial Competition Board, was a Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, and the Treasurer of the Black Law Student Association. Yahya graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and served as the Head Delegate for the Model United Nations as well as the Vice-President of the Southern California Korean College Student Association. Yahya’s previous work and travel experience have allowed him to improve his Korean foreign language skills.

Yahya supports the Firm’s attorneys and clients on many employment-related matters including legal research, preparation of discovery responses and requests, and payroll and wage and hour analysis. Yahya brings an eclectic experience and specialization to the Firm that enables him to work fluidly in both the employment litigation and transactional practices. 

Prior to joining the Firm, Yahya provided legal assistance to film directors and producers on multi-state productions. He also assisted with the migration process for Ukrainian refugees at the outset of the ongoing crisis. Before joining the legal field, Yahya worked in the clothing commerce, home improvement, and food and hospitality industries. Yahya’s wide horizons help supplement the Firm’s insights and perspectives on client matters.
